Myrtle is a small tree with delicate white flowers that bloom in June and July. The fruits of the myrtle resemble small purple berries.
Myrtle has astringent, revitalizing, and softening properties. It is rich in oligogalacturonans (carbohydrates formed from multiple sugars), known as longevity proteins, which protect skin cells and prevent their aging.
Our extract limits aging caused by oxidative stress. Rich in phenolic compounds, it enhances skin protection by stimulating natural defenses and neutralizing chemically induced free radicals.
